One week of my dot-com life has gone by, and I can't tell you how excited I am. Nearly 500 visits in the first week, lots of guestbook signatures, so many compliments, and even more of you finally hearing my voice and supporting me. I'm so extremely thankful. I seem to be more popular than the flu shot.

... which I didn't get... and I suffered!

I should probably go on the record saying that the opening of my website brought along an exciting week which just so happened to include the capture of Saddam Hussein. I'm sure you've heard about it. It was in the news as much as the Paris Hilton video. It's a great thing for the Iraqi people, and an even better thing for "president" Bush to milk in the upcoming election. Personally, I feel as safe now as I would if I was waiting on line for the first showing of the new "Lord of the Rings" movie. BUT! I've promised myself not to share my political opinions in a large extent on the website. I would like to mention, though, that New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey will be the first governor of any state to endorse Howard Dean - this morning, Friday the 19th.

While you're going crazy shopping for the holiday season, I'm sure that politics is the last thing on your mind. It's that time of year... empty pockets, frozen fingers, and lots of giving and receiving. I want to take this time to wish you and yours a happy holiday... Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, whatever it is you may celebrate, I hope that you are safe and warm with your loved ones and all of your wishes come true.

Rumors HAVE been going around that I will be returning to a studio and recording some things. Please check the website as often and frequently as you can... because a Christmas tune may pop up before the day, and possibly a gift of some original music very soon.

There's a group of people out there, however, that I know are reading the site often and spreading it around. I'm sure it's not because my Dad works with them. The guys at Columbia Container have been rocking the site since it opened, and I wanted to thank everyone there for their support. Keep checking it out, keep passing it around. It's people like you who will help me on my path to being successful and well-known. I also can't forget to thank my Dad and show HIM the love. He is always supporting me and there when I need him. Thank you Dad!! And thank you guys!

So, that's me for this week. I really hope you all enjoy the holiday, brave the cold weather, and keep visiting the site. Every Friday there will be a new rant from me... and until then, I will be enjoying marathons of "A Christmas Story", radio stations playing the new Outkast song on loop, and lots of good cheer.

live, love, laugh, be happy, and stay sexy
